Some Foreign Game completed

You may recall from my post a couple... posts ago, that I was working on a platformer called Some Foreign Game. Well, it's done.

I'm currently sending it out to get beta tested, but that won't take more than a week. At least, I hope not.

For screenshots, you can look at the post 2 below this one. The style hasn't really changed much, from those pics., except some polishing done.

I thought I'd give a bit of a description, though for you.

SFG is a platformer with an ambient feel. You will consistently feel as if you were in the night. The gameplay is puzzle-like; Keeping buttons pressed to de-activate objects, or switching levers one way and being careful not to turn them back. It'll take a bit of paying attention to pick up the game, as well as a bit of thinking time to to pass each level. All in all, I'm sure you'll enjoy it and agree it's my best effort yet.

Actual Progress?

Yes, it is true; I have been working on a game AS WELL, as a large side project. Now I will delve into this topic.

About this game. I'm not releasing the title yet, because I'm not 100% sure about whether it'll stay... but most likely. I will give you guys some screens, though.
EDIT: Screen one deleted..

Yes, it is a platformer, but it incorporates coding that I've never tried (or known) in previous games. So hopefully--nay--it will be my best yet.

As for this side project, well, I won't say too much. It involves a microphone, though...

Website issues

They haven't been major, but lately my site has been down breifly and it bugs me. If it ever happens when your trying to get on it, that is probly the reason. I hope to have the problems resolved soon enough as I'm looking for a DIFFERENT host(not 110mb.com).

Results of the Three Is A Crowd Comp.

I had a lot of trouble deciding who should win the competition. There were two contestants; Brooke FX with Dark Dodge and SumYungGai with Pallette. Both were nice games considering the limitation of 3 objects, but both had there own strength's and weaknesses too.
Pallette was very professional looking with nice, sleek graphics, and a nice feel. Dark Dodge felt much rougher, but had a more complete experience.

So without further wait, the winner is Dark Dodge!

Congratulations! Although your game was short and did feel a little rough, it was simply more fun to play. You created fuller of an experience with nice music, a score board, and a sense of energy.

You will be sent an email of authentification and the trophy soon. Thanks for joining!
