Unity3D

So I haven't made much progress with Marble Experiment lately, but that is due to me playing around with Unity3D Indie. It's quite a brilliant program and I encourage everyone to give it a shot.

I currently going through a couple hundred pages worth of tutorial right now, so the fun developing part will have to wait, but I'm feeling pretty pumped still. I want to go straight into a 3rd person Platformer type of game, and it's actually looking promising! As with any programming languages, there are dozens of questions always floating around in your head, but I'm trying to supress them right now so as to keep at it.

Marble Experiment hasn't lost all hope, though. When I said I haden't made much progress, it didn't mean I haden't made any at all. I've created "sticky forms" for the game which padden your fall, but also hinder your jump. Along with that, I'm designed the classic arrow bump, polished the graphics a bit, and added some HP/XP objectives. This game is going to have Boss(es), by the way. Oyah!

Anyway, I will post some screenshots in my next post, so stay tuned.

Too much to do

It kind of annoys me that I can't post more often in this blog, considering the fact I AM doing so much; Just nothing worthy of posting for the gamers reading this. Oh, what the heck, I'll give you guys some updates anyway.

I've currently got a few projects going. The first, and fore-most is the game I've not been able to tell you about for the past month. Now, I will tell you it. MARBLE EXPERIMENT 2. I know, it's awesome right?! :P. The game is going to have a linking story-line to the first one and will have much superior graphics, cooler effects, better music, better mood, and awesomer gameplay. I've already got a 3 beta testers on it, and so far have revieced mostly positive feedback.

On another note, I'm developing a little bit of music for someone elses game; a platformer. Since it's not my game, though, it's also not my place to release any info about it. Just be ready for it.

And finally (huh, I always seem to have 3 points to bring out), I'm brainstorming with-in my own brain, of a game made of more than 1 genre. I call it the RPP/TD Mix. That stands for: Role Playing Platformer / Top Down Mix. I don't really know where this'll go, but I'm feeling pretty good about it.

And that's about it!
